Inclusive, Trauma-Informed Pelvic Floor Therapy in Kansas City

Everyone has a pelvis, but most of us weren’t taught how to take care of them! Maybe you were told to just do kegels, or have a glass of wine before sex, or take stool softeners the rest of your life. Maybe you’ve been told that leaking pee is just a part of growing up (hint: it’s not).

We weren’t taught about our pelvic floor health.

MAYBE YOU’VE FOUND YOURSELF

Frustrated with bladder or bowel concerns

We all go to the bathroom every day, but it shouldn’t take over your life. Leaking, straining, and looking for the bathroom everywhere you go doesn’t need to be your norm forever. Get back to playing kickball, dancing at the club, or getting through a whole movie without worrying about where the nearest bathroom is.

Having difficulty with intimacy due to pain

Sex is so personal, and everyone comes with their own stories and experiences. Our trauma-informed and inclusive care aims to get you back to feeling empowered in your body.

Feeling disconnected from your body and nervous system

The journey back to reconnecting with your body, especially after pelvic health changes, can be deeply personal. As an occupational therapist, Dr. Chloe’s goal is to get you back to living the life you want to live. Dr. Chloe also has specialized training in sensory processing and the nervous system, integrating this knowledge into your personalized treatment plan.

Stiffness in your low back, and pain in your hips while you’re just trying to live your life

The pelvic floor doesn’t live in a vacuum, and neither do you. We take a whole-person approach to helping you feel like your best self.

Feeling misunderstood by providers about your experiences or identities.

Medical offices can feel intimidating. Trust us, we get it. You deserve healthcare that feels safe, and pelvic health is for everybody.

At Evergreen Pelvic Health we believe in THRIVING in your pelvic health Here’s how we help you reach your goals:

Learn about your pelvic health

Health education is woefully lacking in pelvic health information (don’t even get us started on Missouri and Kansas sex education). We’ll break things down step-by-step and how it impacts you as your whole, completely individual self.

Get a customized plan

No person is the same, and neither are our pelvic health treatment plans. We’ll create a unique combination of movement activities, functional training, tasks modifications, nervous system strategies, and hands-on therapies to get you to feeling empowered in your pelvic health and treat your symptoms.

Get back to daily life

Our goal for you is lifelong pelvic wellness that lets you get back to being your best self. We’ll show you how to incorporate what we worked on into your daily life long-term so you don’t look back a year later and wonder where all of your progress went. No more searching for those old exercise sheets from therapy long ago!

Discover the Evergreen Difference: compassionate care rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and respect

At Evergreen Pelvic Health, we believe healing is about so much more than treating symptoms. It's about creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to better understand your body. Every person's experience is different, which is why we take the time to get to know you, your goals, and what matters most in your daily life.

We know that finding a pelvic floor therapist is a personal decision. You deserve care in an environment where you feel safe asking questions, where your experiences are validated, and where your identity is respected. Our goal is to provide evidence-based, whole-person care in a welcoming, affirming space that feels less like a medical office and more like a place where you can truly relax and focus on your healing.

Whether you're seeking care for pelvic pain, bladder or bowel concerns, pregnancy or postpartum recovery, gender-affirming care, or simply looking to better connect with your body, Evergreen Pelvic Health is here to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and individualized care.

Here's what makes Evergreen Pelvic Health different.

  1. Specialized Pelvic Health Care: Pelvic health is what we do. With advanced training in pelvic floor therapy, we provide evidence-based care for a wide range of concerns, including pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, painful intimacy, gender-affirming care, and more. Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique body, goals, and lived experience.

  2. Care That Feels Personal: You’ll work one-on-one with the same therapist throughout your care, allowing us to build a relationship based on trust, collaboration, and understanding. We take the time to listen, answer your questions, and create a plan that fits your life, not just your symptoms.

  3. A Space Designed for Healing: We intentionally created Evergreen to feel different from a traditional medical office. Our space is calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed so you can take a deep breath, settle in, and focus on your healing. We believe the environment you’re treated in matters just as much as the treatment itself.

  4. One Hour That’s Entirely Yours: Appointments are a full hour, giving us the time to understand your concerns, provide hands-on treatment when appropriate, answer your questions, and support meaningful progress without feeling rushed.

  5. Whole-Person, Whole-Body Care: The pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation, and neither do we. We consider how your movement, breathing, nervous system, daily routines, and lifestyle all influence your pelvic health. Our goal is to help you feel better while also improving your confidence and quality of life.

  6. Education That Builds Confidence: Understanding your body is an important part of healing. We believe you should leave each visit feeling informed, empowered, and equipped with practical tools you can use outside the clinic. Together, we’ll replace fear and uncertainty with knowledge and confidence.

  7. Inclusive and Affirming Care: Pelvic health is for every body. Evergreen Pelvic Health proudly provides affirming care for people of all genders, identities, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. We are committed to creating a space where you feel respected, heard, and supported exactly as you are.

  8. Helping You Get Back to What Matters: Our goal isn’t simply to reduce symptoms, it’s to help you return to the activities, relationships, movements, and moments that make your life meaningful. Whether you’re lifting weights, chasing your kids, playing sports, enjoying intimacy, or simply wanting to move through your day comfortably, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Meet Dr. Chloe - Your Pelvic Floor Therapist Serving the Kansas City Area

Hi, I’m Dr. Chloe Lozano, OTD, OTR/L.

I’m an occupational therapist and the founder of Evergreen Pelvic Health. I earned my degree from the University of Missouri and created Evergreen because I wanted pelvic healthcare to feel different.

People often leave healthcare appointments feeling rushed, dismissed, or embarrassed to ask questions. I wanted to build a space where people could slow down, feel comfortable, and receive care that honors the whole person, not just their symptoms. I want to walk beside you every step of the way!

As an occupational therapist, I believe healing and well-being happen through meaningful daily life. My goal is to help you build confidence and get back to the activities that matter most to you.

Outside the clinic, I play for the Kansas City Jazz Women’s Rugby Club, enjoy spending time outdoors, and exploring the city with my loved ones.
